Artist Launch (AL) Program is a career advocacy initiative that selects Frost School of Music’s top students and recent graduates who are ready for a successful career in performance. These emerging artists participate in a year-long artist residency that features professional performances, interaction with influential industry leaders, and a culminating debut concert at Carnegie Hall.

This program is a progression from traditional music school learning towards tangible career investment and implements a system for success that places selected students and recently graduated alumni directly into professional arenas. Artists within the fellowship are mentored by industry professionals, selected faculty, and alumni.

The selection process is an annual audience choice competition that includes notable guest artists who represent 50% of the final vote.
