Program Description:
Discover and empower your inner rockstar! Whether you’re a drummer, bass player, guitarist, or bring some other special sauce to the jam, join an all-star line-up of Frost Faculty musicians and experienced band leaders to learn what it takes to make it as a band in today’s music industry. You’ll join other talented musicians to form a band, cover your favorite artists, collaborate with songwriters on arranging an original song, and learn the entrepreneurial and alchemical powers that make bands such an enduring part of music’s history and lore. At the end of the week, you’ll unleash the full power of your art and comradery during a final rock show in one of our premiere campus venues.
Audition Requirements:
- Students must be in grades 9-12.
- Submit two video or audio examples of you singing or playing your preferred instrument.
- List all instruments you play (including voice).
